Valentine Monkey Bread

My personal favorite: Valentine Monkey Bread 💕 Cut flaky biscuits into quarters. Toss all quarters in sugar. Put 4 quarters in a sprayed muffin tin and cook until slightly turning brown (10-15 min). As soon as you take out of oven pour warmed icing (strawberry or your favorite) over monkey bread and top with sprinkles!

Costco Churros

COSTCO TIP!! Buy frozen churros at the food court and bake them yourself (under-bake to get a much softer middle). Toss in cinnamon and sugar and you can feed a huge crowd! 50 long churros (these are cut in half) for $28! When you bake them yourself they are so much better! My 2nd graders class went wild over them today! 🎉

Aunt Phyllis’ French Mints

I’m always looking for good dessert recipes (since we know I’m a terrible baker) especially for a crowd. My darling friend @eloiseandme passed along a family favorite that I’m making today for the first time. Can’t wait @eloiseandme Thank you! Aunt Phyllis’ French Mints 8 eggs 2 c butter 4 c powder sugar 4 t vanilla 2 t peppermint extract 8 square melted baking chocolate (square is 1oz) 4 c chopped pecans Beat butter until fluffy. Add powdered sugar. Beat for 15 minutes (this is the secret). Add melted chocolate after it has cooled. Beat 5 more minutes. Add eggs, one at a time. Beat well after each. Add vanilla and peppermint. Cover bottom of cupcake liners with nuts. Spoon mixture on top and sprinkle with nuts on top. Store in freezer. I cover them after they have frozen a little. I do some without nuts too. Makes about 55 servings.

Almond Croissant French Toast

Try this indulgent Almond filled Croissant French Toast. The best part is you can serve them at the same time and not be flipping French toast all morning. Heat on griddle or pan as usual on each side. Once all are done, stick in oven at 350 for 10 minutes or until cooked all the way through. In saucepan heat berries until warmed. Egg Nog Shake

True story. I went to the store to buy stuff for dinner (do they really all need to eat EVERY night?). I came out with ingredients for an Egg Nog Shake. Drove home and only then realized I had nothing for dinner. Scarlett won’t share with me so it’s really that good. Egg Nog Vanilla Ice Cream Salted Carmel Talenti Ice Cream Fresh Nutmeg Blend vanilla ice cream and egg nog (not too thick). Add a scoop of Salted Carmel ice cream and grate fresh nutmeg on top. HOLIDAY TIP- Fresh Nutmeg is a must!! It’s so good on so many things and doesn’t compare to the ground stuff.

Chocolate Chipotle Brownies

Let’s start December out on the right foot. Chocolate Chipotle Brownies! These are chocolaty and the perfect amount of heat that will leave you wanting the whole pan. A chef at Traeger put these out the other night and they were gone in a second. 1 box 20 oz brownie mix (like Costco) with added egg, oil, and water 2 tsp adobo sauce from canned chipotle chilis in adobo sauce 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon Prepare brownies according to package directions including adobo sauce and cinnamon. Even better if cooked on your

Donut Croissant

Found at Dans Supermarket! The best thing I’ve ever eaten. It’s a croissant and doughnut in one. (Not a Cronut. I’m honestly not a big fan.) It’s soft and chewy in the center and flaky with sweet icing on the outside. And heated up, Oh. My. Gosh! This splurge is absolutely worth it. Remember make your splurges count!
