My amazing friend Emily McCormick has been working tirelessly to get rid of the tampon tax in Utah. She has given us some great information to contact our legislators to tell them we care about this and we want change. Drives and fundraisers are needed and helpful but reaching out and supporting policy can be even more important. Please see sample letter below that you can easily use to email or refer to in a call. HOW TO CONTACT YOUR LEGISLATOR—The Utah legislature is in session and there is a bill to eliminate the tax on menstrual products (HB 0204). We need your help contacting your Representatives and Senators to get this passed! You don’t need to be an expert in order to reach out to legislators. They represent YOU!
